Meet Mr. Ameh Friday Adesimon, a highly motivated and creative professional serving as the Head of the Management Information System Department at the Kogi State Bureau of Public Procurement in Lokoja. His primary role is to ensure the enhanced operational productivity of KGBPP, contributing significantly to the Bureau’s competitive advantage.
Originally from Igojo–Ubalu in Olamaboro LGA of Kogi State, Mr. Adesimon obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc. Hons) in Economics from Kogi State University Anyigba in 2006. Committed to continuous learning, he has undergone various professional training programs to further hone his skills.
Mr. Adesimon embarked on his public service career in the year 2000, starting with the Olamaboro Local Government Education Authority, Okpo, in the Finance Section. Later, he transferred his service to Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Lokoja. During his tenure at Kogi SUBEB, he held key positions such as Cashier, Head Salary Unit, and Head LGEA Account, showcasing his versatility and dedication to public service. He also actively participated as a member of various committees.
With the creation of the PROCUREMENT OFFICERS’ CADRE in Kogi State Public Service, Mr. Ameh Friday Adesimon transitioned to the role of Procurement Officer. He served at the Kogi State Ministry of Works & Housing, Lokoja, as the Head of the Procurement Department. Subsequently, he held the position of a procurement officer at the Kogi State Deputy Governor’s Office before becoming the Head of the Procurement Department at the Kogi State Bureau of Public Procurement.
Currently, as the Head of the Management Information System Department, Mr. Adesimon brings his wealth of experience and solution-oriented mindset to drive operational efficiency in the Kogi State Bureau of Public Procurement. Beyond his professional endeavors, he finds joy in his family life, being happily married and blessed with children.
